Flying Fifteens New Sponsor For September Championships

The Flying Fifteen class recently gave a confirmation that Deloitte would be the new sponsor of Ireland Championships 2018. It would sail on Dublin Bay and National Yacht Club would host in Dun Laoghaire starting from 28th until 30th September.

There is no denying that the club has great numbers for club racing from recent times and a huge turnout is expected at the event in September. There is only a year left before the commencement of World Championship and the venue would be the same as last time, Dun Laoghaire. The new progress is that there would be many visitors travelling from overseas. The popular Dublin Bay is a top class sailing destination and with the international and Olympic champion Jack Roy along with the Irish Sailing President, the quality of the race management will only begin to improve.

In this competitive fleet, the race is always gripping and exciting and it’s tough to predict the winner of the Championship. It is equally difficult to predict the performances of multiple crews taking part. The Commodore of National Yacht Club, Ronan Beirne said that he is delighted and looks forward to see many great racing competitions over the weekend against the Dun Laoghaire Harbor and also thanks his Deloitte, their new sponsors for their constant support.

The Consulting Partner of Deloitte David Dalton said they are happy to make an announcement on the new sponsorship of the Deloitte Flying Fifteen Championship of Ireland for 2018 at such a great time during the buildup of the World Championship in the next year. Sailing is an excellent sport which needs discipline and commitment and Deloitte acquires these keys to make it successful. In the 1st week of September, there would be a fleet of 6 boats straight from National Yacht Club, which would head to take part in the Flying Fifteen European Championships in Italy.
